On July 6, 2010, the U.S. Postal Service® proposed new price changes that if approved, would go into effect on Sunday, January 2, 2011. You can find details of the filing at usps.com/prices.
Other highlights from the price filing include:
- First-Class Mail stamps would increase to 46 cents. A new Forever Stamp image will be available in October.
- First-Class Mail postcard prices would increase 2 cents to 30 cents.
- Periodicals would receive an 8 percent increase.
- Recommended increase for catalogs is 5.1 percent.
- Standard Mail parcels would increase about 23 percent.

USPS Postal Rate Change - Coming May 12, 2008 |
On May 12 the USPS will adjust prices for mailing services — First-Class Mail, Standard Mail, Periodicals, Package Services, and Special Services. The average increase by class of mail is at or below the rate of inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index.
A First-Class Mail stamp will be 42¢.

| January 2008 UPS and FedEx Rate Changes |
UPS and FedEx have announced that they are increasing their shipping rates for 2008.
New UPS rates become effective December 31, 2007. For details concerning the new UPS rates, please visit http://www.ups.com/rates/
The new FedEx rates go into effect on January 7, 2008 and can be viewed at http://www.fedex.com/us/rates2008/.
Hasler’s AES, AH, and WJ lines of scales that provide rating for UPS and/or FedEx services will require software updates to support the new rates. Hasler also provides rating for FedEx and UPS services from its iMCM, iMCM G2, InteliTouch and Desktop Mail Center™ PC software products.
